Windows
Choose a Windows licence for a new installation, an edition upgrade or activation on a compatible PC. KeyZape lists Home and Pro editions with retail and OEM options, allowing buyers to compare the licence type as well as the Windows version.
Windows Home is designed for everyday personal use, while Pro editions add business-focused security, management and networking features. A retail key may offer more transfer flexibility under Microsoft’s licence terms, whereas an OEM key is generally intended for the first device on which it is activated and may become tied to that hardware. Always select the edition already installed on the PC unless you are intentionally performing a supported edition upgrade.
Before buying Windows 11, check Microsoft’s current processor, TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, memory and storage requirements. Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 are no longer supported, and general Windows 10 support ended on 14 October 2025. Those legacy products may be needed for a specific offline or compatibility-based system, but they should not be presented as the safest choice for a new internet-connected PC.
Keys are delivered digitally; installation media and a physical disc are not included unless explicitly stated. Download Windows only from Microsoft, back up important files and confirm your edition before activation.
